Save-A-Life SwimThe 2006 Save-A-Life swim was a tremendous success! We had 37 swimmers who raised a total of $4,929.25! Great job swimmers! Many thanks to all the parent volunteers and Coaches who made this event run smooth. Your help is most appreciated! A BIG THANKS to Graziano's for donating the pizza's which fed our hungry swimmers, to the Video Exchange and SUBWAY for donating free movie rentals and sandwich's which we awarded our contest winners, and to Weis Markets for donating the drink mix and snacks for our party. Your generosity to our Team and cause is most appreciated! The American Cancer Society's Save-A-Life swim is the oldest fundraiser for the Lancaster County Unit. This event began more than two decades ago raising funds for cancer research, patient services, and education. Participants can swim in memory of someone who had cancer or in honor of someone who is battling cancer. The Manheim Swim Team has participated in this event for the last 13 years.
